Discover Old Hobart Town Model Village
Old Hobart Town Model Village is a historical site dedicated to showcasing a 1:16 scale replica of Hobart as it was 200 years ago. It features over 500 hand molded characters and more than 60 buildings designed using original plans from the 1820s. The site offers ticket booking, historical insights about Hobart, information on how the model was made, and other activities for visitors. Family-owned and operated, it was built by a father and son, opened in 1990, and has been maintained by the family since its purchase last year.
